These creams are made for you to rub on yourself. They are NOT Massage Lotions because they soak in very quickly, taking the essential oils in without ruining clothes or furniture. They do not have a medicine or locker room smell so you can use them in a social setting like work or long meetings. Most people like the pleasant scents.

Melissa calls the area around the chest a boa constrictor. This makes it let go. This is sometimes called the MS hug.

Is this the kind of hug you get from someone you don't like. No. It is what some people call the tightening around the ribs that many MSers experience at some time. More hyper tonic muscle action which sounds almost as bad as MS Hug.

Melissa's used to start around her trunk and work it's way around to her chest and start hampering her breathing. Always a scary thing to not be able to breathe.

Years ago she called me and told me this was happening and so I brought an essential oil home I had heard and read about but never used. Roman chamomile, which sold then for fifty cents a drop in a hundred drop bottle. I rubbed some on her mixed into a lotion and then she took a nap. It had lessened so I mixed some more in a oil mixture and worked in into her back.

That night the boa constrictor slinked off and didn't return for at least six months and we knew what to do that time.

This is one of the oils in Tranquility now.

Roman Chamomile is the Queen of Relaxation. Because of its high price it is usually a 10% solution 100% is used here. It is anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, analgesic and antidepressant. Chamomile for tea is german chamomile, a whole different plant and latin name. This oil can help with a variety of problems and is often described as soothing.

Ylang ylang is an antidepressant. It can be a natural sedative, helpful with hypertension, insomnia and nervous tension.

Bergamot is used here for its antidepressant and analgesic effects.

Clary sage is used here for its calming effects.

When essential oils are blended a synergy occurs which makes the blend more powerful than a combination of the individual oils.



I have used Roman Chamomile for relief of the MS HUG for over 8 years. Anytime I find myself in a position which causes my muscles and joints to start "cramping", I rub this into my hands or problem area(s) and the pain goes away. For leg cramps use on the low back and legs.

For foot cramps use on the calves,ankles and feet.
